I love the poem. It’s so cute and so nofty how you named your chick after it.

I’m sad to hear your chick is sick. I can’t think or remember anything about resolving health problems with chickens. I wish I could. I hope your chick gets back to being healthy real soon. Maybe it ate a bee. As I recall, bee eating sometimes was a problem with Mom’s chicken. I can’t remember what Mom used to help the chicken get well.

Healing hugs to your baby chick. I hope your next entry will be that Miss Lorelai is back in full health.

I added an edit to my allergy entry in response to the honeycomb idea. I meant to do that the other day and forgot. You’re welcome to come take a gander at it.

I hope my talking thimble didn’t scare you off. I’m given to flights of fancy sometimes (okay, most of the time. lol)

Thanks so much for visiting with me. You always make me smile. I love that! :) You’re a peach!

    Take care, my friend.

Wishing you a beautiful day! :D

Personally- I think she’s faking it. I think she’s just trying to worm her way into becoming a HOUSE CHICKEN!! hehe!
I wish I had some real advice- sounds like you are doing the right things.. maybe it just needs more time!
Maybe the other girls in the hen house have been mean to her and she’s depressed??

    Hello Lacy

I’m sorry to hear that your chicken is listless. I hope that in the morning she feels all better.

I beg to differ on the art, my doodles NEVER look that good. The poem was nice as well.

How are you adjusting to being back home? Is life getting back to normal?

    How are your seedlings doing?

I came to visit to see how Miss Lorelai is doing? I hope she’s feeling better. It’s may sound silly, but I do care how your farm friends are doing. They become as family so quickly. They all are such individual characters in their own right. That’s why I always loved and now miss the our small farm I was raised on.

I think I agree with Gina about the House Chicken idea. lol Can you imagine? ;)
From one rich gal to another, I wish you a golden rest of the week! :D

Morning, Lacy. I’m sorry to hear about your chick. I have no advice or suggestions to offer, as I have no experience with farm animals, but I sure hope she gets better soon. Maybe she ate something she shouldn’t have? ::shrugs::

I hope you have a better day today and a good weekend, my friend. I played what I thought was a pretty decent April Fool’s Day joke over at my journal - if you feel like you want to, maybe pop on by and have a read ::big grin:: - that might raise a smile or two… :)

    Lacy,
How is Lorelai doing today? Even though we had many chickens around when I was growing up, I do not remember them ever being sick. I am sure they had to be at some point, I just don’t remember.
We are still trying to get caught up with all of our obligations from being gone a week on the mission trip. We would have been by now, but we are still working on pictures, correspondence, and thank you’s generated by or because of the trip. Of course there is the report to the church body too! That always takes me the longest because I have to read and reread it checking for any errors.
Tell Joshua we said hello. How is this class going?
    Love,
    Tia and Tio
