Good Morning, Beautiful

Is this love that I’m feeling? ♫  Oh yes, David Coverdale (the Whitesnake lead singer for those of you who aren’t cool), this really is love that we’re feeling.  I adore this new two-legged baby fluff ball with its delicate wings and plush downy feathers.  But there happens to be more new life round ye old Ponderosa to be shared.

And this… this is Tawny Kitaen.

Man, she’s really gone down hill since rolling around on that Jag in the video for Here I Go Again.  Laws-a-mercy!

Actually, we don’t have names for the two turkeys Josh recently brought home.  And as tempting as it may be to name them after burned out video vixens — we aren’t sure if they are male or female.  We need some help naming them.  Interested??  The last turkeys were named Cheech and Chong.  I’m really not sure we can top those names so we are asking for some help in the creative department.

We did, however, name the bantam chick.  Meet Thumbelina.  We give you permission to sigh out loud and coo mushy baby talk at the screen — even if you are sitting in a cube farm and those around you think you have completely lost your mind (or possibly given birth while filing).  Hey… it could happen.  And it’s completely justified in this case.

Have a great Tuesday.  Now… mellow out with this timeless hit:

Tuesday Afternoon

Hmmm…Turkeys and a cube farm, what kind of names come to mind. I got it, Peter and Joanna (the lead couple in Office Space, I know you love that movie, I watched it with you and Josh before, lol)

We get all googly every time we get new “babies”. Ducklings are the favorite around here. Turkey poults and chicks are definitely a close second!

Oh my, definitely adorable………………… I love the name Thumbelina, too cute just like the chick.
How old are these turkeys? When will you be able to tell what sex they are? I think of Lucy and Ethel, but I will ask Raul too.

If they are male and female; you can name them:
    Male: Pavito
    Female: Pavita

If you need translations for these let me know.
    See ya.
