Duck Tales and Turkey Talk

April 24, 2008|Comments (13)

Josh built the turkey/duck “tractor” because they were getting too big to put in with the peeps. I took pictures when I wasn’t cooking and cleaning.

Cue the Jeopardy! music

“To the Batcave!”

Remi: “This is, like, totally not in my design scheme.”

Ducks (Huey & Lewis): “Ooo… there’s lots of light but the green shag carpet is so 1972.”

Turkeys (Cheech & Chong) to Huey & Lewis: “What’s wrong with 1972?”

Turkey (Cheech or Chong — we don’t know which) to the pool: “You ever had a taco, man?”

Ducks: “A moonroof and shag carpet. Are you kidding?”

Cheech to Chong: “Hey man, I think we’re in a Chevy van!”

I like that. Just one question though, do you ever find that animals will dig underneath it to get to the cute little ones?

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE the captions, Lacy! Especially that one about the “green shag carpeting” being “so 1972″ – that one just slayed me! ROFLMAO :D

It looks like things are progressing, though; Josh sure has been working hard on that enclosure, eh? From what I can see, he’s done a great job so far. *thumbsup*

Have a great day and a great weekend, my friend. Don’t forget to make sure that you and Josh get some quiet time, too, okay? You both work so hard all day long, every day; you deserve a break… (((((HUGS)))))

LOL That is cute. I love the new home, but I have to agree. Green shag carpet is so out-of-date. LOL

A wonderful enclosure. I think they will get used to the carpeting in time and what they don’t know yet, is the green shag carpet hides the dirt very well. I would know, we had it in our first home. It looks like the young uns are comfy in their new place.
