Josh built the turkey/duck “tractor” because they were getting too big to put in with the peeps. I took pictures when I wasn’t cooking and cleaning.
Cue the Jeopardy! music
“To the Batcave!”
Remi: “This is, like, totally not in my design scheme.”
Ducks (Huey & Lewis): “Ooo… there’s lots of light but the green shag carpet is so 1972.”
Turkeys (Cheech & Chong) to Huey & Lewis: “What’s wrong with 1972?”
Turkey (Cheech or Chong — we don’t know which) to the pool: “You ever had a taco, man?”
Ducks: “A moonroof and shag carpet. Are you kidding?”
Cheech to Chong: “Hey man, I think we’re in a Chevy van!”
Jessica - I like that. Just one question though, do you ever find that animals will dig underneath it to get to the cute little ones?
The Holly Tree - HAHAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE the captions, Lacy! Especially that one about the “green shag carpeting” being “so 1972” – that one just slayed me! ROFLMAO 😀
It looks like things are progressing, though; Josh sure has been working hard on that enclosure, eh? From what I can see, he’s done a great job so far. *thumbsup*
Have a great day and a great weekend, my friend. Don’t forget to make sure that you and Josh get some quiet time, too, okay? You both work so hard all day long, every day; you deserve a break… (((((HUGS)))))
Applie - LOL That is cute. I love the new home, but I have to agree. Green shag carpet is so out-of-date. LOL
Christine - I love it!! I have to agree with the others about the green shag carpeting caption!! ROFLOL
Barbie - Very cute! Love your captions and I never knew turkey chicks looked so cute.
jayedee - pretty spiffy digs there girl! i bet they feel like they’ve died and gone to heaven. btw…….little stump (the wingless turkey) is doing wonderfully! thanks for your prayers!
Tia Julie - Awesome Job Joshua! I can see the smiles on their cute little faces, they Love their new habitat!
Robin - Awesome blossom! That is one ultra fine new home.
Cute cute on the Jeopardy music and Bat cave. Want to know something at least a little bit funny? I live on Cave Street. Seriously. My first name is Robin. Robin lives on (in?) Cave Street. Cue Batman music!
Dawn - A wonderful enclosure. I think they will get used to the carpeting in time and what they don’t know yet, is the green shag carpet hides the dirt very well. I would know, we had it in our first home. It looks like the young uns are comfy in their new place.
Simple Livin' gal - Shag carpet rocks, man!
-This is from Cheech.
Thanks for your comments!
