  • lifehealing - Hi Lacy. Re: your comment: If that person is behaving that way, there’s a reason for it. Maybe they’re insecure; maybe something has happened in their life that you don’t know about, and that’s what’s driving the insecurity or fear. Does that make sense? It doesn’t justify the behavior, and it’s not meant to. But maybe a small shift in perspective may help open the door to insight. No one behaves that way unless they have been deeply, deeply hurt in the past…

Now, as to your post, here’s my thoughts:

“Yeah, I’m a couch potaydog. Live with it.”ReplyCancel

  • Applie - Love your dog. πŸ™‚ I have not title; therefore, I won’t win any homemade napkins. *sniff*ReplyCancel

  • Tina - my masters bed??…says who??ReplyCancel

  • Christina - “Will you just hit the snooze button?!?”ReplyCancel

  • Jacky - Hi Lacy, I totally get you needing to wear your Hubbys PJs, such a sad image.
And the dog, “Beware, dog in bed, enter at own risk”

    Love JackyReplyCancel

  • Applie - Oooo. Just saw the prize. Red is my favorite color, too. Trying to think of a title…..nope nothing.ReplyCancel

  • Farm Chick Paula - Thanks so much for the soap tips, Lacy! Unfortunately, our little local hardware store doesn’t even carry Red Devil anymore, so ordering will be my only option. I don’t think I look like the Unabomber, but I guess they can’t trust anybody! LOL
For your picture… how about “I vant to be ah-lone.”ReplyCancel

  • shelli - “Dogs are people too”

My dog loves to do this too, even though he’s not allowed on the bed. He’ll always risk getting in trouble just for a few minutes on my pillow.

Thank you for the compliments on the picture. Robin and I have been friends since I lived in Kentucky. She’s one of my friends that I don’t talk to a lot, but I know that if I needed her, she’d be there for me, and she knows the same about me. She’s a large part of why I have a relationship with Christ now. When she knew me, I didn’t even believe that God existed. It just so happened that after we parted (I moved away) that we both fell into photography.

    Have a wonderful day.ReplyCancel

  • Jessica - No more pictures, Please!ReplyCancel

  • Leah - Oh I can totally relate. I think that’s a big part of why I love Paula Deen so much, too. I have a couple “substitute moms” in my life and when I need some good mom advice on anything it’s always them I turn to. The last time I tried to get my mother’s input on something that was really important to me she totally shot me down and made me feel awful for it. I just do what I have to now to keep her off my case as far as keeping in touch goes since she insists on that (despite making no effort of her own in that aspect she expects it from me…) but I keep my personal life away from her. She hasn’t been part of my life much since I was 15 – which leads her her treating me like I am still 15 the few times we see each other/talk. I don’t think she gets exactly how much she’s missed in the past 9 years and that I have grown up.

Anyway the dance workouts are fun – tricky and intense, but fun. I think a big part of why I’ve so far been able to stick with them is each routine is only 10 minutes long. Thinking “I have to dance for ten minutes” is much less daunting than “I have to exercise for 30 minutes”. I typically do two of the dance routines plus one toning routine so I do get my thirty minutes in – but it’s a fun thirty minutes! I never realized just how uncoordinated I am though. LOLReplyCancel

  • lifehealing - Yeah, I can relate to that. I don’t get asked about my day (because apparently, since I’m stuck at home all day every day, nothing ever changes, so there’s no need to ask about it), but there are other things that trigger those feelings that are just as impacting. I wonder, sometimes, how he would feel if the tables were reversed again; there was a time when our positions were reversed, and I think maybe he’s forgotten how that felt…ReplyCancel

  • The Camper - Hiya Lacy! ::waving:: What a great surprise to see you at the ol’ “campground” my friend! πŸ˜€ Thankfully, the weather is coming along quite nicely, so the place is going to get a bit more active, now. ::big grin:: In fact, the hubby and I are taking a trip out to Banff, tomorrow (Saturday); he’s going skiing at Marmot, and I’ll be toodling around the Park looking for really cool stuff. It’s mating season, you know; the birds are in full display, and wildbabies are all over the place. I can’t wait to get out there and start filming! ::bounces around excitedly::

Have a great weekend, my friend, and thanks so much for dropping in to visit. It’s so nice to know someone is actually visiting the ol’ place. πŸ™‚ReplyCancel
