The Winner of Successful Small-Scale Farming!

May 11, 2009|Comments (8)

We all want at least two copies of this sweet baby to inspire and educate us in the ways of cash crops and organic farming.  Now to find out who won!

After carefully subtracting any repeat comments, I came up with the magic number.  I plugged and chugged that number into the Random.org Integer Generator.  Then the dogs needed to go out and the children needed to be shuttled into the bathroom for some tooth brushing.  A random quote from my morning: “Please spit into the sink after brushing… whoa… what did you sit in?”

And the day begins.

Congratulations number nine!!!  Now to figure out who won!

You rock, Robbyn! Email me with your mailing address, dudette!

    Yay Robbyn!!!!
Lacy, thanks for the giveaway :o) They’re so fun!!
Now, I just bought all the supplies necessary to make SOAP! My first batch was terrible (bad recipe, I think… lye heavy and without a digital scale. What was I thinking?). Do you have any excellent recipes for soap? Have you tried making it in a crockpot before?? Any good scent ideas???? I love fruity patooty scents.

    Blessings to you and yours,

    Hey Heather!

I have lots of soapmaking recipes and info! Check out the article I wrote for GRIT Magazine http://www.grit.com/Tools/Easy-Homemade-Soap.aspx

Also, check out my Recipes and tutorials section for more recipes. Use the lye calculator http://www.thesage.com/calcs/lyecalc2.php to plug and chug your own recipe.

I don’t advise making it in a crockpot… you certainly can and many people do but it’s a shame because the stove method is just so ding dang easy.

Let me know if you need any help.
    Blessings,
    Lacy
