The photo above will be published in a coffee table book. Can you believe it?? I am still in shock. Could this really be?
As I pack for Hawaii (to visit Josh), I just keep coming back to this photo and smiling. This puts me in the running for a $6500 cash prize which I know I won’t win but isn’t it wonderful to be in the race? I no longer have to defend my reluctance to step out from behind the camera because I have proof that I belong there.
I’m satisfied with that.

How fun.
I got to meet a bloggy friend of mine from across the country this spring when she was in town for business. We only got to meet for about an hour in a hotel lobby, but it was still fun.
If I can ever talk my husband into an RV trip across the south to visit some friends who moved to S.C., I hope you’ll let me stop by to milk a goat.
You should have told them that Sauron (from LOTR) was using that eye to spy on Middle Earth LOL! Yes, I am a nerd.

I am so proud of you!!!! It would be nice if you did win but being the special person you are yes I can see you being content just being in the running. I truly hope and pray that you do win.
