Karen Jackson - I love this tip. It works brilliantly. Rubbing alcohol is expensive to buy in Australia so I’ll try the vodka next. I love the smell as well! Thank you.
Jessica - Do you use colored glass bottles when you add essential oils to your recipes? It’s my understanding that sunlight can breakdown the essential oils, so it’s better to store them in colored bottles (even when using them in cleaning mixtures so you don’t lose the potency). Also, I’ve seen a lot of other recipes for green disinfecting cleaners that use a great deal less essential oils, but these are usually using higher potency, name brand oils. Do you see any benefit in using those oils if you can use less of them and get the same results? Thank you in advance for your help!
Simple Livin' gal - Hi Jessica!
Yes, but only if I will be storing it in the light.
Jim Cook - I’m going to mix up your simple tea tree oil cleaner.
How long will it last in that quart bottle assuming I remember to shake vigorously before spraying.
Thanks in advance
