Hatching Plans

plans.jpg

Here are the plans (well… you might call them that) for the new guinea house! It is an “A” frame structure with one door and an area for rain/weather protection. Josh has already found the perfect limb to put in there for a perch. Now to build the thing! Of course, this is a project that is still in the beginning stages. We have high hopes of getting it completed before the end of January.

We promise to keep you posted on our progress!

On another note… totally off subject: WE HAD OVER 500 VISITS TO THE SITE YESTERDAY!! WOW!! Suscribe to the blog for email updates and be sure to visit the website.

Also, leave some comments! If you try a recipe… let us know how it turned out!

  • Tia Julie - Joshua and Lacy, This looks like a really fun project even though it will involve a lot of hard work. I am sure it is satisfying to know that you now have the wood you need. The guinea fowl were very interesting and I look forward to following your progress with these birds. I didn’t know they originated in West Africa, interesting………….Thursday, January 3rd 2008 @ 10:42 AMReplyCancel

  • Razor Family Farms - Josh is out working on the guinea house right now. I am fixing the evening meal having only just returned from Lowe’s with paint and blades for the table saw (Thank you, Connie). What a day! I ended up with a flat tire and had to get that fixed while running errands. I had a nail in the front passenger side tire! Yikes! All better now. God bless T & T Tires in Columbus!ReplyCancel
